Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing Miss A at The Flat Photo Studio in downtown Salt Lake City. The studio’s intimate, Scandinavian-inspired décor and cozy corners provided the perfect backdrop for a stunning collection of portraits.

A Sophisticated Start in the Onyx Room

We began our session in The Flat’s Onyx Room, an intimate space filled with dark, rich tones that create an alluring, moody atmosphere. Miss A chose a brown leather bra and pantie set for this setting, which perfectly complemented the room's bold, chic vibe. The soft natural light filtering through the windows highlighted the texture of the leather and the natural beauty of her skin.

The leather ensemble added a sense of edge and sophistication, setting the tone for the entire shoot. We played with a range of poses, incorporating both standing and seated shots to capture the unique features of the Onyx Room, including its modern décor and rich textures. Next, we moved to the living room area, a cozy yet elegant space with a gorgeous white sofa. Here, Miss A changed into a lace olive green bra and pantie set, which popped beautifully against the bright, airy backdrop. We explored a range of poses in this part of the session, allowing Miss A to express her playful side while still maintaining a sense of elegance. To finish off the session, we turned up the heat with a wet tank top look in The Flat’s shower. This part of the session was all about embracing boldness and letting go of inhibitions. Miss A slipped into a white tank top, and we used water to create a dynamic, sexy look as the tank clung to her body. The sleek, modern tiles of the shower added to the contemporary, high-fashion feel of these images.

The water enhanced the sensuality of the shoot, giving the images a dramatic, sultry edge. Miss A's confidence really shone in this part of the session, and the wet tank look allowed for stunning, powerful shots that will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression.

Miss J came in for her 2nd boudoir session with me and this time we decided to do a wet set. We started out with a wet tank top set, then did a shower set with bling pasties, and ended the session in the bath tub with bubbles.

Miss C came in for an epic fairy/nymph session on the limited edition enchanted forest set. She decided on 3 bonuses: butterflies with noodes, body chain outfit, and luxury robe. She picked out a fantasy blush pink wig and ended up wearing outfits from the studio client closet. I loved how this shoot turned out.

Miss M came in for her 2nd boudoir session with me. This time around we took it up a notch with 3 bonus options: bondage, black light, and champagne showers.

Miss J came in for her 2nd boudoir session! I photographed her wedding 10 years ago and it was great to see a returning client. We decided to use some fun props, creative lighting, and a body chain outfit.

Introducing our the BLACK angel wings! A few clients were requesting if I had black wings as well as the ivory wings so I purchased a set of black wings. I love these wings for that fallen dark angel look and of course it looks amazing with black lingerie. These are available as a bonus prop when you pre-pay for your album or collection.

Check out these amazing photos we did of the new shower bonus set. I decided to use neons, bling pasties, and some different lighting setups. This bonus set is available when you pre-pay for an album or collection.

I wanted to create a new set in the studio themed "Cinematic Glamour" that had rhinestone pieces, a chandelier, and the ornate glam mirror. Then I added in some neon lights and turned on all the lamps and candles in the studio. I used some special effects in front of the camera to get a prism effect and the rainbows. I love how these turned out and I'll now be offering this set moving forward.

Miss K came in for a boudoir session and we had so much fun shooting photos on some of the new sets. We used the gold cage chair, bath tub, and dressing room. Her red lipstick was the perfect pop of red.

Miss Y came into the studio to model for me so I could test out my new dry shower setup. I experimented with both a dark background and a light background. I think the water droplets showed up the best on the lighter background but I like both for variety. What do you think about the new dry shower setup?

Finally, the studio update is complete and it comes with several new sets. I had to keep the popular red headboard bedroom set but I added in an ornate large mirror next to the bed. One of the new sets features a gold and black cage chair with a black screen and gold lamp. Another new set is the clawfoot tub with a brown screen and plants. Then I added in a black gothic looking fireplace set with lots of candles. I took the pink and white chaise to be reupholstered and it now has black painted wood with a soft black velvet fabric. Then I completely cleaned out and redesigned the dressing room to include a vintage vanity and neon signs. The whole process has taken several months and endless hours over at the studio. I'm so excited that the remodel is done just in time for busy season for boudoir shoots.

Miss M came in for a classic boudoir studio session. She picked the luxury emerald green robe, body chain, and wet tank bonus sets. Loved her tattoos and cute bangs. The photos turned out amazing.

Teal Sheets, Blacklight, and Red Rose Petals! Oh My! Miss E came in for a boudoir shoot and was excited to show off her new pink hair with hair extensions. We decided that teal matched her pink hair and best. She also rocked some pasties and white fishnets for the black light bonus set.

Miss A came in for a boudoir session and we had a great time shooting sheets, red rose petals, and my new faux shower set. The photos turned out so amazing.

Miss O came in for a spicy boudoir shoot. She picked a number of bonus sets that I want to feature in this blog post. We got to use my new gold cage chair for her shoot. It made the whole look very sexy.

Miss A requested to use the new Honey Birdette swing for her boudoir session. We had a fun time coming up with new poses and ideas. I decided to post these in black and white because I love the drama a black and white image creates.

Check out these cute bubble bath boudoir photos I shot at the Sandy studio location. We decided to do a strip tease with one outfit and tons of bubbles using a bath bar from LUSH! My all time favorite bath tub store!

After Dark sessions are limited edition sessions that take place at the darkest part of the year October-March. We start the session in the afternoon and drop the black out shades to make the studio pitch black. Then we bust out all of the candles, neon lights, black lights, and studio lights. We turn up the heat with fun props like the honey birdette swing and bondage props. You'll have access to the red room set, Tease neon sign set, and candles set. This is a great option for repeat clients that have already done a classic session with us.
