Boudoir To Do List
I've organized a few helpful tips before coming to your boudoir shoot that will help you get the most out of your boudoir session.
✨ Skin & Beauty Prep
-
Moisturize your skin a few hours before your shoot.
-
Avoid wearing undergarments before your session to prevent red marks.
-
Plan for a clean shave or wax, manicure/pedicure, and shaped brows.
-
Figure out your hair and makeup plan — or let me take care of it for you.
💋 Outfit & Styling Tips
-
Try on all outfits in front of a mirror beforehand.
-
Cut off all tags from new clothes.
-
Bring a variety of panties: bikini, boyshort, cheekies, thongs, v-string.
-
Pack bras in black, white, ivory, and pink — and don’t forget a plain black push-up bra.
-
Choose outfits that reflect your style and flatter your body — bring extras just in case!
-
Wear loose-fitting clothing to the studio to avoid skin indentations.
-
Bring (or borrow) a pair of black heels to elongate those legs.
🎶 Personal Touches
-
Practice your “model face” in the mirror — serious, sultry, even playful expressions. It’s all about experimenting!
-
Browse my portfolio or magazines for posing inspiration.
⏱️ Session Planning
-
Most outfits take 15-20 minutes of shoot time. Bring more than you think you'll need.
