Miss "MA" is my type of girl! She loves the colors black and red. She requested a red lip to go with her outfits and also borrowed a black leather vest I have in the dressing room.

So I recently got this question in my email, "This is for my husband and he really only likes panties, primarily G-strings, he buys them for me often and he hardly ever gets to see me in them.  Can my session be more or less a undies modeling shoot?" The answer to your question is YES! I often have women that email me and say that they don't own any lingerie but that they would really like to do a boudoir photo shoot. First of all you should probably stop by Victoria's Secret and look around for some lingerie that you like because I feel like every woman deserves to feel beautiful wearing lingerie. Second, if you don't want to buy anything new we do have lingerie available at the studio that you can wear. Finally, the most important thing to bring to a boudoir photo shoot is several pairs of panties: black, white, and red or pink. So, for this weeks WHAT TO WEAR WEDNESDAY I'm featuring a just panties look wrapped up in white sheets. This is one of the most classic and timeless boudoir looks. This is one of the most requested shots and we encourage every clients to do a "just sheets" look for their session.

When planning your boudoir shoot I think the #1 outfit you should bring is a black teddy. The 2nd outfit you should bring is WHITE or CREAM! White is perfect for a bridal boudoir session or if you want some images that are soft and romantic to contrast against dark, edgy, and moody images in a black outfit.

For this weeks Makeup Monday I wanted to show off a purple eye shadow. We often get requests for browns, blacks, or gold smokey eye shadow but look at how stunning purple can be!

For today's What to Wear Wednesday I'm featuring an emerald green teddy. Now, black is the most popular lingerie color but if your looking to add some color to your shoot then choose a dark emerald/teal color to compliment a burgundy lip.

Check out one of the boudoir session's we did this week at the studio. The stunning miss "A" did the photo shoot for her boyfriend's birthday. We did a mix of soft images with natural light and dark images with lots of shadows!

Check out Miss "M" and her stunning bridal boudoir session! She wanted to use her wedding dress in the images and to keep the colors classic and timeless. Of course my most popular images are the dark black and white images.

Check out Miss "C" and her stunning boudoir photos. She did a mix of dark images and bridal looking boudoir images. She put her hair up in a top bun at the end of the shoot for a more casual look.

It's officially wedding season at the boudoir studio! All these brides are coming in to get boudoir photos done for their groom's gift. Miss "M" did her shoot 2 days ago and brought the most beautiful lingerie from Victoria's Secret along with her long wedding veil. She is getting married in June!

For this week's What to Wear Wednesday I decide to take a break from showing you what to wear for your shoot but instead share this awesome info-graphic that can answer any commonly asked questions about doing a boudoir shoot with our studio.

Check out Miss "N" and her cute boudoir session! She brought some great lingerie in a variety of colors along with an awesome cowgirl outfit. I like to use my brick wall or tin wall for a cowgirl look.

With Easter right around the corner I wanted to feature a cute pink babydoll slip for spring! This outfit would look great in front of our new flower wall or on the cream bed.

Utah has been getting snow like crazy this week and I was having the spring time blues dreaming about getting a killer tan on a beach somewhere. Sunless tanner to the rescue! I’m obsessed with St.Tropez’s sunless tanning mousse, it is so easy to use and takes 5 minutes!

The bottle runs about $42 and lasts for a super long time (especially if you’re only applying it to the areas you see daily). I like to apply it to my arms, neck and face so I get that bronzy glow. My makeup looks way better afterwards and my skin looks more clear, win win!

Do not skip on the special “oven mitt” as I call it. Totally worth the buy and saves your hands from being an orangey mess. (It’s $6.50) I just take whatever is left over on my mitt and run it over the tops of my hands at the very end of application.

Check out miss "N" and her cute boudoir session. She decided to do a 12 month calendar to give to her boyfriend. That's why all the images she selected are vertical. The calendar is a 11x17 vertical calendar. I wanted to feature this shoot because it shows off the raspberry damask wallpaper and red sheets. Those sets are not requested often so I wanted to show them off.
