BEFORE THE WEDDINGVENDORS
Occupations:LOAN OFFICER; EXCAVATING
How the couple met: We knew each other from grade school up thru high school, and had developed a good friendship. After high school we lost touch both went our separate ways for about 4 years. Then one day, my sister called me and said that I would never guess who she had ran into. It was Aaron, and he happened to be friends with her boyfriend, so she said her and her boyfriend were going to a movie that afternoon and would I like to come, as Aaron was interested in catching up, and so was I. We just picked up where we left off in high school.......and so, here we are now, Happily married.
How he proposed:It was Valentine's Day morning, 2006. Aaron was up early, made coffee and asked if I would like to come have coffee with him. (He was acting like a kid waiting to open their presents on Christmas morning) It was so cute. Then he just handed me this box from Shane Co. I had no idea what he was getting at. I opened the box and then he asked me "Will you marry me" I said, "YES", of course.
Bridal shower/Bachelorette party: We had our party a week before the Bachelor party. We reserved some rooms at the Red Lion hotel so that we would not have to drive after partying. We went to the Sky bar that night, after I had been decorated with all of my Bachelorette gear that the girls had picked up. It was a blast.
Bachelor party: The guys got a limo and went out on the town. They ended up at the Sky Bar. The funniest thing was, they were talking to the manager and they told them that they should have come the week before, as there were a bunch of crazy chics there the weekend before, and Aaron said, I know, that was my fiancé and her friends.WEDDING

WEDDING ADVICE: Higher a wedding coordinator. If you can't afford the whole gauntlet with one, then just higher one for the day of the wedding. I am so glad that I did, and he took all of the stresses away from me worrying about the next step. It was soooooooooo worth it. And, higher a DJ, I have seen so many weddings where an ipod with a playlist was used, and it turned out to be so stressful for the bride and groom. And last but not least, choose a professional photographer. Do not even consider having a family friend who likes to take pics, you will be so disappointed. Opie is the best, and I would definitely recommend choosing her. She was and has been so professional. Everybody that I show my pics to, rant and rave about how awesome they are. Her prices are also very affordable.
Rings: Shane Co
Invitations: item #: S1999HP from New and Blue Enterprises - online. We also got a brass stamp with our initials, and wax to seal the inner envelopes (we chose the wax sticks, they worked awesome) - Nostalgic Impressions- they are also an online company.
Rehearsal dinner: We rehearsed at Willow Creek, and then went to my Dad and Mom's house for dinner
Guest book: We got a custom photobook from Costco.com and used fine point Sharpie's with Flower's tied to them with florist tape, for signing, in our wedding colors. It was a hit, and so memorable for us.

Wedding favors: We bought little 2"x2" gift boxes with black and white covers from Hobby Lobby and filled them with assorted flavors of tiny gumballs and 1 tube of custom label chap stick (www.mapleleafpromotions.com)- it is all natural. We used gumballs, because of the heat, we didn't want the candy to melt, and that was the only thing I could find that wouldn't melt, that I also liked. We tied ribbons, in our wedding colors, around them so they looked like mini gifts. They were a hit.
