I just love Chris and Keely's sense of style. They are having a 1940's themed wedding. Keely and Chris are from Canada and are having their wedding at the Goldener Hirsh in Park City Utah on September 18, 2011. Yes, I said 2011. These savy planners booked me to shoot their wedding a year and a half in advance.

Here are Lynn and Jarom's engagement pictures that I shot a few weeks ago. We did a mix of industrial and urban locations. I had so much fun shooting Adriana and Landon's engagement session. We started out at La Callie and then finished the shoot in down town Salt Lake City, Utah. I'll be shooting their wedding at the end of the month on June 25th at the Salt Lake Temple and their reception at La Callie.

Check out Tara and Tyler's super hot wedding album. They got married at Wheeler Farm, Utah on April 7th. They went with a textured black spine and a warm brown color as the main leather. This is my most popular album and it comes with a wide variety of leather options and cover materials.

Cathrine and Blake are big movie buffs so we decided to shoot some of their engagement pictures inside a movie theater. We finished the rest of the session hitting up some fun locations in the downtown salt lake area. I'll be shooting their wedding on July 9th at the Bountiful Temple and their reception at Eldredge Manor in Bountiful, Utah.

We got eaten alive during this photo shoot. We originally started out at the Great Salt Lake and when we were trying to shoot we got swarmed with nats biting us like crazy. It was so bad that we had to get out of there and decided to finish the shoot in downtown Salt Lake. Amber and Chad are a super hot couple and I just love Amber's funky hair style. Congrats on your engagement and upcoming wedding!

I had a great time shooting Jennie and Aaron's engagement pictures at Thanksgiving Point during the tulip festival. These two love birds are getting hitched on August 28th at the Willow Creek Country Club. I'm really excited to be there to capture the entire event.

Kelli and Luke are such a sweet and fun couple. I'm looking forward to shooting their wedding on July 17th at Market Street Grill.

Love this engagement session! It was crazy windy and very cold. The theme for this shoot was "a picnic in the park". A vintage twist to the whole thing with balloons, flowers, and cameras. Enjoy.

This bridal session started out with a snow storm and ended with sunny skies. We did this whole shoot at the beautiful La Callie.

I had a great time shooting Kelli and Morgan's engagements at Peace Gardens on Monday. They went for a more vintage feel and brought along a large bouquet of red and yellow balloons. We also did some pictures with their two dogs. Super cute! Kelli and Morgan are getting hitched on June 17th at Millcreek Inn and I'll be their to capture the entire event.

I came home with a bunch of bug bites I got while shooting this family session at the great salt lake. This is the super cute Newkirk family. I shot Rachael's boudoir pictures about 6 months ago and she came back for a family session. Their doggie was so cute that a few days after shooting this session I went over to the salt lake county animal shelter and adopted a new dog for my family. :)

This photo shoot is a personal project. I wanted to do an Alice in Wonderland themed bridal session. I still wanted it to be bridal and not too wacky. Something sweet, romantic, with a little fairy tail mixed in. Hair and makeup was done by Enizio and the flowers were done by Whimsy Floral and Design.

Check out this sassy wedding album! Alicia and Brandon picked out a metallic silver leather and upgraded their cover to have an acrylic photo with a metallic print. They even went with metallic paper inside their album. Hot!

Kira is from Maine and Ian is from Wyoming and they were visiting family in Utah for the Easter weekend and booked me to shoot their engagements. Poor Ian was sick during the photo shoot but we got some great stuff anyway. Congrats guys on your engagement and upcoming wedding.

Check out my beautiful cousin.  I shot some portraits of her while I was in Las Vegas.

Got this beautiful album in yesterday.  It's a 10x10 leather flush mount album with a sassy silver leather called "Saturday Night Special".  The names and wedding date are embossed on the cover.  This is the album from Amy and Ricky's November wedding at the Salt Lake Temple with a beautiful reception at Highland Gardens.  Along with the album is their high resolution digital negatives from the wedding.  Aren't those DVD cases hot?

I had someone ask me last week if they would be getting their wedding album and disc 1 year after the wedding.  The answer is, "No Way!"  The average delivery time for wedding albums is 2-4 months after the wedding.

How the couple met: Brandon and I met at work almost four years ago, but we didn't start dating until 2008.

How he proposed: Brandon had been wanting to go camping for a while, but our schedules and the weather had not been very cooperative. One Sunday he asked that we go up to Sundace for a little hike. When we got to the top there was a large open area where all you could see for miles was trees and mountains. Once there he started telling me that he loved me and that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. He also said that he wanted to form a family and spend the rest of his life happy, with me. I really didn't think anything was going on because he is always sweet and says things like that so it was not out of the ordinary for me. We hugged, kissed and THEN I saw him go down on one knee...he looked into my eyes and asked, "will you marry me?"...amidst a shriek and a dozen "Oh my gosh[es]" I said yes! He chose the perfect way to propose and we couldn't be happier!

Bridal shower/Bachelorette party: I had a bridal shower at Brandon's grandmother's home. It was nice because I got to spend some time with his sisters, mother, my mom, and his cousins and aunts. I had a bachelorette party at Hooters! I had always wanted to go there to see what the hype was all about so I requested to have my party there. It was FUN hanging out with my closest friends (in Utah). Brandon had two bachelor parties. One was with his 5 brothers, dad, and 1 brother-in-law. The second was with his closest friends. They saw a UFC fight and played poker. He had a lot of fun. :)WEDDING

Cake: The cake was made by my Mom! The first tier was a Tres Leches cake which is a Mexican traditional cake. It was stuffed with peaches. The second and third tiers were were made with a chocolate cake with real strawberries and cream for stuffing (is that what you call it)? The cake was covered in coconut.

Colors: Plum and Dark Gray

Flowers: Flowers were provided by The Rose Shop in Idaho Falls.

Décor elements: We had linens provided by a linen's company in Idaho Falls.

Unique details: We had a couple of manzanita tress on the buffett table, we had an activity room adjacent to the reception hall with a pool table, computer, and TV for our guest's children to entertain themselves while their parents danced in the next room!MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT

Bride's answer: There were so many special moments during the wedding that I loved! I loved walking down the isle and looking into Brandon's eyes. Or when we were saying "I do" and Brandon's eyes got a little teary and his hands started shaking. I also LOVED our first dance. It really felt like we were the only people in the room for a moment and it was just SO awesome.

Groom's answer: Brandon's most memorable moment was me walking down the isle.HONEYMOON

Place: Our first stop was Las Vegas, NV. Our second stop was Anaheim, CA. In Vegas we stayed at the Stratosphere, went to the Top of the World restaurant, gambled (just a little), walked the strip, and just had fun! In Anaheim we went to Disneyland and California Adventures.

A memorable moment of the honeymoon: The good moment: The most memorable moment was being in the Merry Go Round in California Adverntures and Brandon leaved over, hugged me, and whispered in my ear, "I love you". It was just sweet and being up in the air made it so special. The not-so-good moment: When we lost our windshield wiper in the freeway and it was POURING and we were in the middle of four semi trucks and we couldn't see A THING!

WEDDING ADVICE: I would advice bride's to relax! RELAX! The most important part of a marriage is finding the right person so chances are you've probably already done that. Everything else is a plus. I would also advice brides NOT TO BE RUDE to Bridal Consultants! Don't demand things and DON'T yell at people! Consultants are there to help you NOT to serve you and obey your every whim. Be reasonable! No one likes a Bridezilla. That was my biggest pet pieve when I would go shopping! I don't care what people say a Bridezilla is NOT beautiful. You just want to smack them!

In order to reduce stress I would advice Brides to narrow a theme, color scheme, dress styles, and everything else down to two or three ideas BEFORE you go shopping. You're bound to change your mind, but having things in mind before you start shopping definitely helps. And make a notebook where you can keep pictures for inspiration. Vendors will be able to help you more if they have a picture they can see. No one reads minds yet girls!
